There has been much discussion in the Joe Meek world of royalties (or lack of). Just to prove that at least some of Joe's former artists have at some point received remuneration for their work, Dave Adams has kindly loaned us a copy of his most recent songwriter's royalty statement to add to the TelstarWeb archives. You can flip through the pages one by one or download a zip file of the complete statement (recommended for those with slower Internet connections). If you read carefully you can see exactly which issue the payment refers to (all CD re-issues from the last 10 years) and how many copies those issues sold in the period covered by the statement. |
